Help needed - audio sync

Discussion in 'MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 encoding (AVI to DVD)' started by bowieboot, Nov 15, 2002.

    downloaded 2 films from newsgroup in MPG file. Files play fine on PC on real player, however when I convert to Video CD using Nero the sound is out of Sync. Any ideas ??

    Encode using TMPGEnc or something. The encoder would be much more reliable!

    DEFINATELY, the NERO encoder has never encoded a non-corrupt file for me before.

    Tried that using TMPGE to re code it, no change

    Still no better.

    Interestingly also did a SVCD of Ice Age and that came out perfect.

    Just had a thought, nothing to with NTSC and Pal and frame speed differences ?
