i managed to copy it fully thanks to the guide posted by bbmayo. how does the disc qualiy matter with the copy of your dvd? is Mriior Platinum 8x good discs or bad discs?
with dvd decrypter can i copy ps2 games and then use dvd shrink and then use dvd decrypter to write them to a blank dvd-r disc like in bbmayo guide?

how do i make an ISO into a playable form on my computer. i want to be able to play the ISO on my computer in the form of AVI for example.

Ok, yes you can Backup your PS2 games with DVD Decrypter but dvd shrink wont do anything, if its bigger than a dvd-r then you gotta use a dvd+r dl until its Gran Turismo 4. Read onto computer @ slowest and burn @ slowest for best results and yes use good media tdk, verbatim, ritek etc. Search forums for a more indepth explaination if needed.

To make a ISO playable on your computer what you can do is install Daemon Tools, this creates a Virtual CD/DVD rom drive on your computer which you can mount your ISO onto. So it looks like you have your disk in the drive, open up your dvd player and it plays it as if the original was in there, if not better because its reading it off you HD instead of your DVD Drive. For what you really want to know again searching the forum would be a good idea to find a wealth of knowledge on converting DVD to Avi
