help please someone!

    hi,
    please help! im new to all this audio ripping stuff, im using the nero 7 record feature. im trying to record the audio from a dvd into files to play on media player or burn to cd. when clicking record it seems to find the audio and record but on playback its really quiet! ive tried playing with the settings but nothing seems to improve it! please help its driving me mad!

    If you want to rip the audio from the DVD and select audio clips, there is freeware that, while requiring some effort, gives more control and better results.

    Run 'DVDFAB HD Decrypter' select 'Main Movie' and output to a folder.
    Run 'PGCDemux', select VTS_01_0.IFO, check 'Demux all audio streams' -output will be an AC3 audio file.
    Run 'Headac3he' (with azid.dll to convert ac3 to wav). Open the AC3 file and output a WAV file.
    Run 'Audacity' drag the .wav file onto Audacity and select audio clips to add effects, etc then save as mp3 or wav.
