Help Please Very new have no idea

    I have a movie on my hard drive. I have a dvd burner on my pc. Not ever having done this before, l need to know what software l have to use so l can burn this movie onto a blank disc or dvd+r disc. I have managed to burn the movie onto a blank disc, but this did not work in my dvd player in the lounge room. Your help is greatly appreciated

    More info required in order to assist - see cev111 thread below.

    Need to know file format, software currently being used etc.

    If not in ISO or VOB format, file will require conversion prior to burning.

    This is all l know about the movie, l have no idea what sort of file it is, l can't find it

    I think l see, l need to download TmpgEnc and avi codec, this will convert the file.
