ok heres my prob, i want to buy a dvdr drive
and after much lookin ive kinda settled on a Pioneer. BUT which to get!.
    i can get a 106 oem for £130 from bigpockets (£135 delivered)
but i can get the A05 retail from microland for £113.17 delivered!
is it worth the little extra for the OEM 106?

I personally dont use +R so wouldnt really be that intrested in it. I'd get the Pioneer DVRA05, or if they still sell the 105, go for it if its cheaper. Bigpockets is great for hardware, used them tonnes of times.

If you plan to use rewritable discs, don't even think about it and get the 106. In my experience, DVD+RW discs are much more convenient to use than DVD-RW discs (fixating, erasing and writing speed are considerably faster).
