I am very new to the computer world and i recently urchased an Ipod Video as a christmas gift for myself. I understand that i have to convert my DVDs to iPod standards and i was wondering what was the best software available to do this? Also, how do i get my audiobooks to go into the audiobooks section of my iPod? Thanks, Primeau26
Have a look at the guides, you will know how to convert DVD to iPod: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/253137 http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/244629 Sync to iPod: http://www.apple.com/itunes/sync/ Your iPod also tracks where you are in an audiobook or podcast and syncs it to iTunes. If you listen a bit more on iTunes and re-sync, your iPod knows where you left off in iTunes.
pq to dvd is a good one to use if you have windows. I purchased cucosoft dvd to ipod converter and it doesn't work.
but remember, though (especially as far as these DVD/video-to-iPod converters are concerned), different programs can work better on some computers, and cause major problems on others. I am afraid it can be a matter of trial and error to a certain extent.
