ok 80GB is ready? Turn off xbox, Open it. Replace the hdd in xbox with the one 80GB. KEEP the original hdd for back up. When done let me know.

to store games in hdd instead burn it to DVD. Well I dont know which bios do you have. If you want to buy a big one, I suggest to buy one between 160GB-250GB. The 80GB is good if you want to use it.
Yes, you can. When you install dashboard, Then you can find out which bios. When you open the xbox, Modchip is under the dvd drive. I may be able to tell you which chip is that.
