My starview box was working fine uptil this evening, when suddenly it switched off completely, i have done the obvious replaced the plug fuse but still no LIFE.
Is there another internal fuse which might have blown or is the box ready for nackers yard?
Any suggestion or help would be greatly appreciated.

it shouldn't have died if it was 2.57 as it is a safe firmware for clones and genuines.you should bring it back to your supplier.

There have been reports of the boxes dying because of power supplies, eeproms, etc. Obviously, if it's one these that has caused it, do as suggested by ryanmg and TAFSIR, bring it back under warranty.
