I bought an external case (usb) for my old hd (xp) to transfer files from it to my new computer(xp) and I cant figure out why it wont let me transfer or copy to my music and video files to my internal drive. It says cannot read from the source file or disk or it says path not found. Do I need a program to transfer or is there another way? External drive is set under (F:) Please somebody help me!!

More then likely the issue is that the XP hard drive which i assume you installed inside the hard drive enclosure needs to have the ownership reset, so that your new? or atleast different computer can access it. to do that, you need to go to this link and follow the steps in green.
