Is your phone model R-225.

You can find out by pressing #*0000#

If yes , the phone cannot be unlocked.

I have the same problem. Most T-mobile go-phones are R-225

Please keep this in mind when you buy a T-mobile to-go phone if you want to unlock it.

 

thanks mate. It is indeed an RM-225. I'm so unlocky. My bro in the states bought this phone and sent to me in Africa. I guess the damn thing is useless then.
