Today my computer said there were new updates to install so I did (as I always do when I get this message). After I installed them and rebooted, my computer kept switching itself off every time it restarted. It eventually started up but when I opened Outlook I had to configure it. It was as if Outlook had been totally deleted and reinstalled. I had to put in my email address and mail server details etc and when I got it started all my emails and folders have now been wiped. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it to do with the updates I installed? I can't see how else it would have happened. Is there anyway of getting back my old emails?

do a system restore to before that update to see if that corrects the problem.
