help with a eurovox ex5000 pvr

    hi i have got a ner eurovox and scanned it first it picked up 100 channels,sports were fine all the movies broke up so shop i bought from said factory reset and rescan done this and now it wont pick up any channels at all it says no transponder,how do i add a transponder and find the correct frequencies,as the shop keeps giving me diff ones to try.re scanned it 10 times now and it finds no channels.pleaseeeeeeeeeee help me

    First we need to know your cable provider previous to VM e.g TW C&W or N*L also your location.

    whats the start and stop freq as the freq list in that link isnt working also my software is the july the 15th version,this si really annoying me now.lol.thanks for the replys mate

    Edit ; also the 15th July is the most upto date firmware so your fine.

    link still not working for me when i try andenter start at 100 it wont let me start with 100 it only allows a 0 first ahhhhhhhhhhh im going mad lol

    just scanned it all and after scan it went back to the screen with no channels and i tried update channels and it said no transponder to scan,all thru scanning it was saying tp 000

    Ok try doing the same using 6952 as the symbol rate.

    managed to input correct start stop symbol etc but still in scan it picks up no channels,normally as it scans it picks up the name etc this is all blank and just says tp 000,what am i doing wrong

    ok tried again with diff symbol rate and still no joy i dont know what to do,the shop has told me to do exactly the same freq posted here,he says they sell hundreds of boxes and never any probs

    At the back of your box make sure you have the cable feed going to the RF IN and NOT the ANT socket!!!

    scanned it for the second time and its worked fine,picked up loads more channels than first time and all movies etc are working fine.thanks alot for all your help mate really appreciate it

    the adapter it came with from shop was put in that part so i presumed it went there lol.quick question mate sky sports 1 and 3 are missing any ideas how i get them i tryed a channel update but it didnt pick them up,if you could talk me thru it id appreciate it

    Ok you need to do a manual scan on 731.000

    press menu then along to installation, ok on user installation, enter 0000 then pull down to freqs 731.000, press ok so a tick apears at the side of the TP number then press BLUE for manual scan, screen will go black for about 15 seconds but leave it to scan, you should see the channels flash up, exit and have a look through your channels.
