I can not get audio when backing up Double Jeopardy. The only software that worked was DVD Decrypter. But when using decrypter it puts the movie in 1 IFO file and about 8 VOB files (only main title). When I try to burn it's bigger than a DVD5 and it won't let me. When I try to open up in Shrink it won't open the file. Any idea why Decrypter is putting the movie in this file format?

You must have it set to rip in the ifo mode.
Do you get an error message and if you do what is it?
Try redoing it in the file mode or iso mode.
    good luck

There is something up with the original DVD. The main title is only 1 hr 40min long but yet I can only get it to 62% when using Shrink. The whole disc is 52%. I'm only leaving the english dolby, it doesn't make any sense why it's only 62% with such a small movie. My DVD DEcrypter is making like 8 VOB files and at the most it should only be 5 with just the main title. My preferences are already set to what they should be for Decrypter and the last 20 movies I did were perfect, but with this movie it's making a huge Video TS file?

I got Lord of the Rings to 55% and thats a 3 hour flick, whats the problem?

Try going into Shrink and instead of selecting open files just go directly to Re-author then browse to where your files are and then drag the main movie over to the left window and use Shrink as normal :)

I've tried that but I can't get any audio. I also tried it with DVDClone and it didn't come out with any audio. Neither of these will work at all without ANYDVD. Decrypter is the only one that got me any audio.

OK. I used Decrypter for the main movie (audio worked), then I opened up Shrink and instead of "Open File" i clicked Reauthor. Dragged main title over. Left English dolby on and backed it up. Finished without audio!! I then did the full disc with Shrink and the audio worked. looks like I'm gonna have to go with the full disc unfortunatly.

yes I left 5.1 on. I'm confused because the audio worked in full disc. Oh well thanks for the help anyways, I already have the disc done and printed already. You don't think it could be my DVD SHrink that could be bad do ya?

If you go into Shrinks Preferences and look at Stream selections what does yours say there?

Yeah I just backed it up perfect with only Shrink and burn with Nero. Also did one with AnyDVD and DVDCopy3 same results perfect.. So its not the movie unless you just got a bad copy? Can you get your hands on another one and try it?
