Help with burning a DVD - First time!

    ok, i'll have a look thru. i'd only looked at the last bit, hence why i'd skim-read and posted the wrong thing.. hang on a mo... (though i think you got it covered)...

    @bamimami - right, i think i'm with it now. you gotta keep things simple. ie convert one movie with VSO's proggy. this will output it's files wherever you tell it to. As DVDBack23 has been saying, you can't then go renaming files, or just chucking files in there, or deleting files out. the whole point of converting the avi
    (or whichever format) is that it's converted to dvd-video compliant format (ie don't mess with those files). what dvdback23 will know better than i is how to add in a second set of files properly (i haven't done that with Nero before). So that's the bit to figure out before worrying about burning, i think..

    Ok, I wont rename them or move them or anything. But I still have the same problem of them being named the same. :(

    The files will be the same or similar, you need to next do something to merge the two sets of files. I have only used programs such as dvd2one for this. Only once the two sets of files are properly merged can you burn them to dvd.. (In dvd-video format)

    Do you know where I could find instructions on how to merge files using that program?
