Ok I have look at a few of the post and I cant seem to get anything. I have just bought a Philips DVD writer and have to idea how to use it. I have a large amount of videos on my hard drive that is in avi format and I wanted to put them on to DVD that I could use on my DVD player. I was wondering a few things

1st How much would I be able to fit onto a 4.7 GB DVD (each thing is about 45 min long)
2nd is there a faster way then using tmpge because it is taking over 15 hours just to convert one and i have over 30 flies

I have Roxio Easy Media Creator but that also take over 6 hours and it has crashed half way through.

I put the files (from using the dvix to DVD converter (on to DVD and they can not be watch on my DVD player

i am just so confused if anybody can explain a easier way of doing this I would be very grateful

Thank you very much in advance

(Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place it is just so confusing for me) silly me I thought it would be as easier as copying music to a CD
