Can anyone please tell me how can I use a CDRW as a "large floppy"?

I try to copy and paste files but it says it is "write protected"

    Please, someone help!

Dude, a CDRW is not like a floppy disk.
If you want to put files in there, you can't just drag it in or paste it in. You actually have to burn your files in there.

I think you can use direct CD for that
You have to format the disc first though I think
Check your software you got with the drive, but yes I know what you mean and you can do it, I personally just like to use cd-r`s Then you don`t wipe off data by accident and cd-r`s are so cheap now, if you look around you can get em for free with rebates (compUSA, Bestbuy, Circuit city, office max etc )
