Also, am I right in thinking that a Brute Force scan will find all available channels, regardless of 68xx or 69xx etc?

    Wot image you runnin mate
For best scan results you need to input your net id location and rescan
All the latest images have this feature and can do a full scan in about 5mins tops Good Luck ............Paul

One thing you can do before doing a image flash is resetting the EPG. Leave it on E4 & hopefully it will show after 30 secs or so.

Resetting EPG: Blue Button > Blue Button > "some option in there".

    Evening all,

Got my new DB2 (as below) up and running quite easily - always good! Finds 256+ channels (incl data and radio) - couple of questions:

    1. Can someone point me to an english language bouquet editor?

    2. Im tempted to upgrade my Comm6 to Commando 8.2... is it stable yet, what are the benefits? I see Comm8.2 doesnt come with keys - does the system cr@ck the keys itself, or do I need to find them somewhere?

    3. Under "Channel Scan" I have "Background Scan -> On". I assume this means it's scanning for new channels / keys all the time in the background?

i put commado 8.2 on mine, but saw no extra benefits, but i lost all EPG on movies,so i put 8 back on and updated to 8.1 which i prefer to 8.2

i've flashed the image 1x sportster 1.10 rc006 10april07 image file to my sagem dbox, i've also flashed the service and bouquet xml files for the leeds, uk area...

on every channel, even terrestrial ones, it says channel unavailable..

i've got the coax cable that usually receives terrestrial channels fine and freeview in the back of the dbox.

please help i've been trying to get this working for weeks now...

    yeah...have i been unbelievably stupid?

i've just moved into a student house so don't really know what services have been set up...we've got virgin media set up, but the cable end doesn't fit into the antenna socket on the box...

however i'm sure i read somewhere that you don't actually need cable to receive all the channels...

say if i got an f to coax adapter and a splitter from the virgin media box would that work?

    Hi,
iv probably missed the answer somewhere but am still baffled.
most the channels are encrypted and iv tried changing the ucodes and the softcams with no luck.
Im running commando 6 version 2.0 and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction!

If the channels are named and you have epg for them
Its either a com or ucode thing
    Or signal
Have you had them on and theyve gone
And arescan wont bring them back .......Paul

The channels have been encrypted ever since the scan found them,
iv got another box that works fine so i assume its not the signal
