Help with Disc Check

    is there a way the computer can check the backup for any freeze spots or glitches.....or do i have to watch each one..

    Nero CD-DVD Speed will do it, but you have to chose the scandisc option. They also ahve the pif-pi test, which I don't like as much as the scandisc. DVDinfopro will also give you that exact same test, except DVDinfopro cost money, but there is a free trial.

    where can I download the free nero speed? I am interested in something that will check my back-ups for glitches and skips too. Thank you

    I found that I already had it on my Nero Program. Now my question is do i want to scan both surface and files? If it shows errors waht exactly does that mean and what can i do about them? thanks for your help

    So, if all the files and scans come back with no errors than the disk should be good? I there are any skips, than it should just be the player and not the DVD, am I understanding this correctly?
    One more thing..i have Nero 6 but dont think I have recode? is this a free program with nero? If so where can i get it from?

    i had two dvds that had glitches...i put them in nero and only one of them showed up....why is that

    Was the disc dirty? Just the player possibly? Did you going back a few seconds and watching that part again?
