is there a way the computer can check the backup for any freeze spots or glitches.....or do i have to watch each one..
Nero CD-DVD Speed will do it, but you have to chose the scandisc option. They also ahve the pif-pi test, which I don't like as much as the scandisc. DVDinfopro will also give you that exact same test, except DVDinfopro cost money, but there is a free trial.
where can I download the free nero speed? I am interested in something that will check my back-ups for glitches and skips too. Thank you
I found that I already had it on my Nero Program. Now my question is do i want to scan both surface and files? If it shows errors waht exactly does that mean and what can i do about them? thanks for your help
Check out this thread...it nothing but scans and interpretation and explanations. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/262544
So, if all the files and scans come back with no errors than the disk should be good? I there are any skips, than it should just be the player and not the DVD, am I understanding this correctly? One more thing..i have Nero 6 but dont think I have recode? is this a free program with nero? If so where can i get it from?
Was the disc dirty? Just the player possibly? Did you going back a few seconds and watching that part again?
