Hi, I have a NEC 2500A 1.06 and I'm trying to use booktyping for the first time. I followed the guide for dvd decrypter but when I go down choose my drive, then choose +R media, the new setting box is grayed out and I can't change it. Can anyone help me with this ?
What version is your Nero? Is it Nero 6 Ultra (6.6.X.XX) or is it Nero 7 Ultra/Premium (7.0.X.X)? As far as I know, any Nero 6 and 7 should come with Nero Burning Rom. That is the very first package (package #1 should have Nero Burning Rom 6, from Nero 6 Ultra) and Nero 7 Ultra should have it too.
then try a complete uninstall using nero's clean tools, reboot, and and run a search to make sure its completely gone, then do a re-install. @ MUNEYG you may not be able to flash that drive cuz it is an OEM drive. you cant get a [bold]hacked[/bold] firmware because of it. but o have read that you can. i have the same drive as you. by any chance is it in an HP machine? if so, i have a link for you then. otherwise, try here... http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_result.php?kaj=1&isces @ alkohol........ nice job on the 'walk through' you never cease to amaze me.... come over to my house, show me a thing or 3 !!
