Help with new gaming rig

    yeah i think i will go with it.good bit cheaper than the first build and i have the SSD to run the OS off

    nice build :) think i will just go for me 2nd one. just hope putting it all together goes alri. Im sure it will be the same as i did it years ago?

    ye more or less m8 just make sure you set ssd to ahci and use intel controlers to get the best out of it.

    do you mean connect it with SATA? what do ya mean by intel controllers.I have never put in an SSD so dont know much.I know that when i first boot to disconnect my other HDD and just leave the SSD connected and install the OS to that.

    well your board depending on what you get should have 2x6gb intel sata 3 and 2x6gb marvel ports they are colour coded just make sure you use intel for best performance the intel drivers will be on cd or download latest

    the board im getting has 4 x SATA II - 3Gb/s and 4 x SATA III - 6Gb/s

    ye but 2 of the 6gbs will be marvel and 2 will be intel the 4 x sata 2 will be intel the 2 white sata 3 should be intel and the two dark blue are marvel but check when you get it
