help with sony vaio

    i wanna open my computer to put a 230gb hd but i open it i doesnt have no screws or ant thing it only has to clips on the side to open the top but that is to access the c.d. players nd stuff

    My Vaio has four screws on the back that have to come out. Once those are removed the cover is slid backwards about 1/2 inch to disengage the tabs from the slots in the base. It then lifts off.

    What is the model number of your Vaio?

    okay thanz soo much now my computer runs soo much better rather than a 10gb lol

    oh and one more thing if i install a card that lets my computer connect to a tv what would the name be under my computer>right click>properties>device manager?

    Probably a 'TV Tuner card' or 'Video capture device'

    not sure
    it has an svdeo card a yellow wire plugin and a serial plugin

    dont know what kind it is its old like from 2001
