help with star view box help please

Have you got the coax going into the cable in socket and not the ant in socket?

Codes are fine if you are in an ex C&* area. What does it say on the front display of the Starview?

Yes that is correct. Can you receive any channels, I will have to make this quick as I am about to leave.

 

if we turn on an off can turn channels up and down if a pic does come on it is all distortrd an froze sound only, then it jumps to channel 0

 

So does "0" just appear on the front display then, as I have seen this before.

 

if a channel does come up it turns to 0 and turns box off then back on

the box everytime we switch on, it will go to channel we want no picture only sound, then the box will go to 0 on its own, switch off an back on its self,

 

Ok had you got a power cut recently also what firmware is on it now go to menu system information and tell me what API version is on it

Then count the vents on the top how many do you have thanks

 

it is a 2.57e_E and yes we had a power cut last night, we have 7x18 vents, and hi fergus nice to hear from u

no the v2.57 is the firmware ok you have a clone box was you box on when you had the power cut
