hi just got thebox pvr v4.0 pre loaded.number of probs: on auto scan i get 0 channels,i cant get EMU: after i press o.k. at parental lock i just get the change pin option, no secret menu must be very secret cause i tried countless times and cant get it. i am in dublin on true cable with n*l. can anyone help thanks
Sorry I have to leave have a look here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/575788 you need to update your firmware you will find all you need there. Dont worry about the channel dump thats a seperate issue.
i have updated it to 'Box_PVR_E v4500 6thJuly'. but still no channels when i do an auto search. THe level and Quailty are 0% at the bottom of the auto scan and it says unlock beside it> what does this mean?
Hi Have you selected you correct cable network provider by using the right arrow button on the remote? Then Autoscan. Another thing is to make sure you are in the Cable socket and not the loop out/in, its easy done. jbvid
