Two days ago i had this problem with winamp
""error during audio cd burning process""
Library error : Drive reported a reading error
Drive error : Incompatible medium installed

i cant copy or make a audio CD

so i tried to burn one song with winamp
    that worked
    so i tried 5 song
    no luck with 5

    then this one popped up
error during audio cd burning process
Library error :Drive reported a writing Error
    Drive Error : Write Error

The drive is a pioneer 112d bought it in april this year

Does anyone think it a fault in the laser circuitry the part of the circuit that operates the CD burner side of the drive.

    Thanks for looking

Can you make a regular data CD by simply copying and pasting (dragging and dropping) files to a CD using XP?
If you can, there's nothing wrong with the burner.
