I am trying to use the LameMP3 with vdub but when I save to .avi, it gives me an exagerated output, shit it tells me my drive doesn't have enough space.

After selecting the LameMP3 on vdub it gives me a list of formats on the right but i dont know witch one to use

Y does the output come out so high? 54 gb on a 789 mb movie, lol, thats insane

If the Video is set for 'Full Processing' with no compression selected you will get raw video.
If you elect 'Full processing' for the Audio and neglect to select compression, you get raw audio.
You can run a 4MB clip up to 800MB easily.

Set the audio for 48000,128,CBR, Stereo.
If the video is not being recompressed it should be set for 'Direct Stream Copy.
