Help With XBOX please

    Look for the D0 wire. It must be moved.

    this is what i see: a gray box that says do not press

    a Diamond harddrive, 120 GB 5400 RPM

    A gray electrical strip (I think) it's gray and has red outline. four wires, a red yellow and two blacks. then a bunch of yellow wires

    the modchip is under the dvd drive. You have to take out the dvd drive, the you will see the modchip.

    i have no idea, no original box and when i open my box i just see the thingsl isted.

    the chip should be all the way to the left side where is the ide cable.

    i apoligize for the delay my mom needed the computer, i don't have any screwdrivers to get under the DVD drive, what size do i need?

    There's a tiny gray wire glued on the D0 point then attatched to the chip.

    Ok it looks fine. The D0 point is important for the chip. It turned on the mochip.


    do you see alot of wires from the chip or solderless adapter or pin-header?

    yes, there are 7 black wires going to the switches on the outside of the box, 5 on one thing then two on another, and the other three spots with the two blacks are red and the attatch to a screw that fits into a hole on the motherboard but it isn't securely in

    and also on the bottom there are a bunch of input holes that you plug into these metal spikes from the motherboard

    7 wires go out side of the xbox is for contol board where you have disable, bank, protect switch.

    Look like you have solderless adapter because there is a screw to screw it down to motherboard. Is it right?
