I am having trouble with putting in a dvd burner in my empty space in my computer. There is like a metal cage that doesn't come out inside the drive. so i can't put my burner inside the drive without the metal cage being takin out. Please help.

Hi syracuse, There are sometimes 1 or 2 screws holding that cage in place. Then some slide type tabs after you remove the screws. You take out the screws and then slide the cage either UP-DOWN or FRONT-BACK and the cage will come out so you can mount the drive. I have seen a few that the cage doesn't move and its a B---H to get the drive in without moving something else like the power supply. Hope this helps but I can't tell you more without seeing it.
