yeah i did that, but it still says that it doesnt read any XboxHDD, FatXexplorer says i need an F:\ drive(?),, and Xplorer360 says "could not find a FatX drive to open".
Do not remove IDE cable from xbox hdd untill you see microsoft logo appear under XBOX. if you remove to early, the xbox hdd is not unlock yet.
is is normal for Windows to take uber long to load? because i waited like 10-15 minuts for it to load but it didnt
when you connect xbox hdd to pc, then hit a Space key to continue to boot pc. It should boot like normal.
bios loads, but the windows loading screen takes forever, sometimes the computer restets itself, is that normal?
yeah, i did what you told me to, unplug the secondary IDE from the PC HDD, and plug the primary one into it,, unless im getting them mixed up(im not the master of electronics)
Primary IDE connects to PC hdd and 1 DVD drive (optional) Secondary IDE ONLY connects to xbox hdd. NO DVD drive. Make sure xbox hdd jumper set to master or Cable Select.
well now i know what i was doing wrong, so where do i find the seconday IDE? should i disconnect the IDE from the cd player, or do i find it someplace else?
Look on PC motherboard. The IDE cable connects to pc hdd and connects to motherboard. That IDE port is Primary IDE. The other IDE port is Secondary. It is just next to the Primary IDE
ooh-kay, ill check that out, and change the jumper switch on the xbox HDD to master right? ill let you know how it went
umm before i start all this, is there anything else i need to download other than FatX or Xplorer360? or do i have to change any settings once i get Xplorer running?
well this sucks,, my HDD on my PC doesnt have enough space to backup the files.. i know that my problem might be the parental control, can i change it while in Xplorer360?
