HELP!!!!!!!

    ok so here is the deal. i play WoW and yesturday my computer turned off out of nowhere while i was playing. So i figured out that it turned off when i played any game. i check i have no viruses.
    i have a amd 2 ghz, ati 850 xt crossfire.
    and i just cleaned out the dust and it helped out a bit but still does it but lasts for about 40 mins b4 it turns off.

    when it shuts down next time, restart as soon as possible & go into the bios to hardware monitor or something like that to see what the cpu temperature is. how much ram is in the pc? are all the fans working as in videocard, cpu, psu & case?

    1 gb of ram its corsair xms if that matters all fans work

    could be a number of things. 1st do what ffg said post up your temp.
    you could also pull side off the case and try running something like sisandra to stress the system. see if cpu fan shuts or slows down, that will cause it to shutdown quick. Could also be power supply going out. How old is the supply?

    Instead of hijacking a thread, you should have started your own. Hopefully, a Mod will move it.
