as long as they are within the ip range - i'd choose 0.100 and 0.101 on the end.


open a command prompt (click Start > Run and cmd in the box) then at the dos prompt type ping ip address i.e. ping 192.168.0.101

 

All pings fail

Just been to local computer shop and they have tested the crossover patch cable and all is correct. Now I'm getting a bit stumped. I have a fair idea what to do but I cannot get dbox and pc linked .it's getting frustrating

 

my cable is id as

CAT 5E PATCH CORD CABLE TEST TO E1A/T1A 568A 0801

Select the ‘Use the following IP address’
Enter the settings, as you seen it on your DBox, except the IP address will be one digit less of the last number
(eg. 192.168.0.3 on DBox, so use 192.168.0.2 on your PC)

The higher value goes on you pc and not the other way round

Any ideas how i add a cable provider to the service scan list

eg Cableuk sym6952

 

How do I remove the German providers from service scan and replace them with uk bruteforce and Cable uk Sym 6887.

 

you need the uk cables.xml

 

Done this already with 123dbox and still only got the German providers and no uk ones ????????/

 

You will have to reflash that box with a uk modded image
That has defaulted back to german
