    i need help i tried to quad boot my new pc so i used g parted and made the 4 partitions, the i set the flag on the first one to boot and then i restarted the pc and in bios i click f9 which say to continue with set up and when i do it wont read the win xp disk or g parted or anything ells it says to restart computer with system disket in drive but it still doesnt read it.



    help (i know that that was a huge run on so dont say anything)

    are you certain your cd/dvd drive is set to first in boot priority?

    yes it will start to read the disk then it say disk read error restart...

    is there any way that i can wipe my harddrive through bios with no bootable cd

    got it to work it was ide cable lose thanks anyways
