heres my .avi problem

    i recently bought all the episodes of the tick on cd. they are all avi files and only about 1/3 of them work. they others play video just fine but there is no sound. i have also had this problem with a couple of .avi's i got off kazaa. i've downloaded several codecs and none seem to work

    yo I had the same problem once and downloadded a codecpack named: sldCodecpackv1.3.exe (from zdnet downloads) and that worked great (winxp)

    But now an another pc, same problem, but these cedecs don't work here!! (win98)
