um...i got a mouse at radioshack. it was the cheapest one with that had a usb plug. now...this mouse, has a blue led that's very annoying.

i know there's a way to turn off the led (there must be right? other than yanking the led out, which i've been considering...). so, i was wondering if anyone can help me edit the driver? to turn off the led.

i opened up the mouse and inside is one of those small plugs that have like 5 or wires going into it, and plug in. so...my guess is one of those wires is for the led. if that's the case, i can turn it off right? without turning off the mouse's other functions such as left-click and stuff.

alright, any help is appreciated. i've already tried googling...and there isn't much info on how to hex edit a gigaware mouse...:(

you can try putting tape over it or pull one of the wires.
