Hey my friend soft modded my xbox using mechassult. Everything was fine i could still get on xbox live and everything. One night my sister reformmated everything on the harddrive. She can't even read yet. Now i need to know how to get the Microsoft dashboard, so I can do account recovery so I can get on xbox live. I also need to know how to put it on my xbox. Thanks for you help.
well just wanted to know did u ever get that working cause im having the same prob u can say the error 13 one (but my sis didn't do mines though )... hopefully u can be able to download the xboxdash or msdash file or whatever on the net and some way put it on the xbox hd ...if u find out let me know too

You'll have but, only Two options open to you! 1) Locate an Orginal XBOX™ (For Autorized Use ONLY!!), Restore Disc on eBay and perpaire to pay about $30.00(USD) ~ $40.00(USD) for it. This will cause you to restore you XBOX™ at the cost of you Softmods! But, theres nothing to stop you from running it over again! Or... 2) Give in to the Darkside and stop being a 'Powned Softmoder!!' and just get a Modchip, Yes a good One will set you back about the price of One new Game! IT'S AN EXCELENT INVESTMENT, and the best one you'll ever make! besides installing a 400Gib HDD that is!
