hmm strange for some reason now it wont read it...do you thinkg i should restart the operation over and have you walk me through it?

partition 2
partition 3

yes that is what in the xbox hdd.
Partition 3 is C drive
Partition 4 is E drive

Connect the hdd back to xbox before turn off.

This is very important to connect the xbox hdd back to xbox then turn off.

If you don't do this and turn off the xbox, then xbox can't relock the hdd. And xbox may not read it again.

i think so i cant remember tho but i backed the files up on another hdd that i have to put in there

wll the code is still 16 but i donno maybe if i restart the the pc it will read the xbox hdd...i donnow but i just wanna put this 80 gig in it an get it over with...know what i mean so how do i go about doing that

ok now im back so i have the MS dash folder in at the step where i have backed it up and want to copy the ms dash over to the partition 3 so what do i do copy the whole foder or take the contence out of it and put it on the partition??!...
