if xbox still says error 16, then something else fusk up. Because the hdd is not empty and ms dash is in C drive for sure.

 

yeh here i have a folder in the "MSDash folder" its xboxdashdata.1012a700 is that the same as "xboxdashdata"?

 

yes that is what i mean. i said xboxdashdata because I dont know what number is it.

in Partition 1 i have:/dataxbox in it is:/english.dsk, assessts.dsk, streamed.dsk and in partition 2:netplay.txt and $CACHE$ in it is :/Sound, Movies, HD.wad, interface

 

delete them all

 

hmm seen so um like im gonna back them up then delete them will that be ok?!

 

they are caches of games. you dont have to backup.

well i get it that the motherboard isnt gonna recognize the 80gb cause...something about password i thing so i still dont understand why it wont pick up the original hdd

 

if you can find the eeprom.bin in the BACKUP folder, then you can softmod the 80GB follow this

ok did you find another ms dash yet?

 

I have one guy try the ms dash, that I gave from the link, tonight. I will let you know it works or not on his xbox. He got problems with softmod and he does hotswap too.

 

yeah thanks im still waitin for the slayer disc to download but i havent found another MSDash yet....so im just trying to figure out this part::3. Copy files for xbox C:\ drive from slayers disk and put the files in xboxhdm's linux>C folder.:: thats kinda confusing still..what do i do

 

But you still need msdash to boot first. I will let you know when I hear from the other guy
