Hey, My computer doesnt have sound, help would be greatly appreciated

i cleaned a bunch of stuff on my computer
and i tihnk i deleted something, now i have no sound on my computer


I NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!

Do you have any conflicts in your Hardware\Device Manager. Look for little Red or Yellow icons, especially around your Sound devices...

Also which Soundcard do you have...

how do i figure out

 

Look your motherboard and if you know the type I will know the compatible sound card.

open system information, and follow the System Manufacter, to know the motherboard.

 

can i download the software for the sound card off the manufacturer's web site???
