hi8 editing software

    i reacently purchased a hi-8 sony video camera. I want to buy editing software for it so i can make films, but everywhere i look theres no software compatable for hi8 film. what software can i buy to use with camera? what software is compatable for hi8 video cameras?

    Any editing software will work with 8mm, you just need to get a capture card to get the video into your computer.
