I missed an episode of Heroes recently so I d/loaded that episode.
It was a 700mb AVI file.
It appears to be very good quality when played via my PC to my 32" HDTV over a VGA cable.
Is this file still in some kind of HD format or is it just that it was HD originally and has therefore retained high quality in compression and conversion??
It seems even better than some of the 720P WMV HD files I downloaded from the microsft website

depends on what codec was used to rip dvd divx is good and h.v26, the file should have been larger than 700 mbs if it was hi def. windows wmd is crap ,but watching with vga is not hi-def
