High-Def DVD Players

When will they release them in the US? I know they've been released in Japan, I'm just ancious to get one!

 

Are you refering to Blu-ray or just plan HD players?

 

I realized you were refering to HD DVD Players and not Blue-ray.

According to articles I've read, it was originally set to be released on March 28 with two different models ranging in the prices of US$499 for the HD-A1 and US$799 for the HD-XA1. However, Toshiba delayed the release and will hopefully be available by mid-April of this month providing nothing comes up again.

If you do get one, would you kindly give us a review. What I want to know, is my 6 year old dvd collection going to work with this new machine? (Most important to me).

 

Yes all blu-ray and HD-DVD playes play DVDs. In fact they are able to upconvert the standard def DVDs to somthing that looks alot more plesant on big screen tvs.
