hlep please i wanna get starview and i live in dublin ireland i need tips

hey guys im new to this starview thing but its sound good been looking on ebay.ie. and can anyone recomend what one i shuld get and how do i know if ones real or not.

i have ntl digital in ireland would it work with that also whats the quality like when run it through to starview

anyone got any advice how can i tell if a box is genuine or not.

and does this thing really unlock the movies and sports on the ntl digital even tho i havent subcribed to those stationss

That ebay dosent seem to be there anymore.
Im in Dublin too and got a Starview from ebay.
Works brilliant. In other forums they recommend that you revert to NTL basic as they will notice that your digital box is not communicating with base, and might ask why. They dont approve of the Starview

 

Do you remember who you bought from on Ebay, so that I can try to avoid a copy?
Do the Starviews update automatically via NTL - I believe Eurovox does?
Also, do the stations differ for Ire & Uk? There is one guy seeling in Dublin 'Channel line up as per Irish system. RTE1, RTE2, TV3 etc etc.' - is that relevant?
