I guess what you need is a reciever (I would go for 5.1/7.1 instead of stereo) which can take uncompressed PCM over HDMI 1.1 (or higher, but neither 1.2 nor 1.3 would make any difference here).

will get you to the manual for a seriously good amplifier.
HDMI capable (3 inputs) so you can use this as a video router as well.
7.1 analogue in (So far, all players that are Dolby True HD compatible will decode this in the player at the very least, to the analogue outs)
I do not - yet - know of an AV amplifier that will take the Dolby True HD in from HDMI and decode internally. There doubtless is one.
Dolby True HD is exactly the same as MLP Lossless.
DD, DD-EX, DTS, DTS 96/24, DTS-ES & Neo DTS are all catared for, as are all flavours of DPL II.

Looking at the detailed specs for your player, Dolby True HD is output via HDMI in PCM mode - the player decodes this, so you need an amp that has HDMI Audio in, or 7.1 Analogue/5.1 analogue in.
This CA 640R will do the job - flawlessly.

It's too cheap to be true.
    What are the DAC?
    What is the S/N ratio?
What is the power output? (The CA has 100 Watts RMS per channel)
I would have to hear it, as at that money, corners are being cut somewhere along the line.....

To finish off this thread I will say this...

HDMI 1.3 isn't needed for high res audio. HDMI 1.0 could handle up to 8 channels of uncompressed audio. HDMI 1.2 can handle DSD for SACD and MLP for DVD-Audio.

The other thing is that all content mastered in "Advanced Mode" (meaning that there are interactive features) must be transcoded to PCM no matter what for both HD DVD and Blu-Ray. That constitutes all professional HD DVD titles and upcoming Blu-Ray titles. All players are required to be able to re-encode their supported audio formats into PCM/M-PCM. Setting the player to output TrueHD or DTS-HDMA would require yet another decode to PCM/M-PCM at the receiver anyway. For quality sake if you hookup your next gen player and audio receiver with HDMI set the player to output PCM/M-PCM, you will be doing yourself a favor.

The days of bit-stream are over!
