I use Ulead VideoStudio. My home videos are recorded on Mini Dv tapes from my camcorder. I then transfer the videos onto my computer as .avi files. Then use VideoStudio to edit, convert and burn to a dvd.

You still haven't told us what media you're using.
Have you tried other burning programs?
What speed are you burning at?
Is your firmware up to date?
The more information you can provide, the better.

I suggest you use Studio 10. It's not free about 60 bucks.

    you could use Nero.

Maybe try Changing the Brand and Type of blank Dvd disc you use.
A good read of your DVD player/recorder Couldn't hurt.

Answering questions is a great help, (what Media are you using?)
    (What programs are you using?)

Give A step by step on how you tried to put them on DVD. I think that would help someone in answering YOUR question.
