Hi, I have a new sony hdtv with cable box in the living room area of my basement. I was hoping I could hook up a monitor to the television and mount it in the kitchen area for viewing whatever is broadcasting on the tv at the same time without changing tv inputs such as video 1 or video 2. Is this possible? thanks

yes and no there are some wireless devices you can use to transmit and also entertainment hubs that will do it for you will need one of these or something that splits the signal, not sure about hdtv products you can check crutchfield they tend to have next gen tech before most retailers here is a link http://www.crutchfield.com/S-sENB28ewLFy/

My cable box has Dvi,Component, and Svideo out. I ran component to the plazma and svideo to my computer so I can view on both.
