Hooking up my HD DVD player.

    So i have a Full HD TV(HDMI) and my Amp also has HDMI outlets. When i go to buy my HD Dvd player how do i connect it all up? DVD to TV then another hdmi cable from tv to Amp? or dvd to amp, then to tv?

    are we buying a HD DVD (discontinued) or BD (blu ray) player ?

    Usually the player(s) would go to the amp first.

    Well... Since he's posting in an HD DVD forum I would guess that it's a HD DVD player. Just because they don't make new movies in HD DVD anymore doesn't mean that there aren't alot of great titles out there that are pretty cheap not to mention the attractive price of the players. Blu ray has some decent movies also but just like the Playstation 2 games.. there's tons of horrible crap on blu ray.
