I wont to create a 5.1 surround audio file to play on a dvd player.
I realized 6 surround tracks on Cubase SX. I exported them (with some problems)in 5.1 sorround format. I encoded them in ac3 format with Soft Encode.
I mastered the ac3 file with nero, burning a video cd with a Yamaha ,but the dvd player recognize the cd as aduio cd and tells me there are no mp3 files on it.
The question is: which is the correcte procedure? Hai I to use a dvd recorder to burn the cd?
    Thaks in advance.

Don't double-post the same thread in several sub-forums here in future, please. Thank-you.

One option that should work would be creating a DVD (or mini DVD if you don't have a DVD burner) containing surround audio stream. You might want to have a look the DVD-R forums to find more information.
