    I am having the same exact issue. I spent a few hrs last night and finally transferred the Shademand files and I went from error 13 to 21. I then tried again and put my original files back on partition 3 and it wnet back to error 13. Do we have a link that is definitely known to be good for the files?

    Also when using xlporer360 i always get a error first about not detecting fatx or something along those lines. But then it still shows the partitions. Also it will not allow me to just drag and drop files. It only allows to select a folder or file to copy over. Anyoen else with the same issue?

    Update:

    Just downloaded the files fromt he Megaupload link on the first page. These have the original MS files and now my xbox is back to normal. Now it needs to be softmodded. What is next? Should I now install the Shademand files?

    CHEERS........

    You can't go LIVE with the Shademand softmod files on the xbox. Otherwise, you will get banned. If you want to go LIVE, reinstall xbox's hdd to factory condition as [bold]ugabuga[/bold] did.

    @ugabuga

    CHEERS........

    There are 2 ways to softmod your xbox.

    1/ hotswap and install shademand softmod files.
    2/ read my second post on the first page. There is a link that shows you how to softmod your xbox.

    Finally, Cheers all you guys.

    Thanks for the help guys. Now that I have the xbox back to factory condition, you are saying that i could hotswap again and use Shademand files to mod the xbox?

    Last time i tried that i rebooted the xbox and it came up with an error? Also if I try it, do i delete all the files in every partition then copy the Shademand files or add them to the existing files?

    Thanks for all the help guys!

    i already tried to put it back to normal and it still doesnt work, and i tried using eject button and still dont work. i guess im just screwed, i have been trying to fix for a month and a half now and im fed up with this crap. im going to just get another xbox(new) and do the softmod.

    i can still go on live with a softmodded xbox just not an upgraded hard drive. i have friends on xbl with modded maps (new maps only, still cool though) he just doesnt go into matchmaking. hes been modded for a month or so and still going.

    @ugabuga

    You delete all files, but first you need to keep a backup copy of your ariginal then transfer all files from shademands softmod.

    Hey, i was wondering if someone could help me out i was playing around with my softmoded xbox and was trying to get set up how i wanted it, i droped the controller after messing with the softmod and somehow deleated my ms backup. when i try to boot the xbox it doesent show the white microsoft logo under the x. it just shows the error screen with no error code. it does the same thing with a game or without a game. i canot ftp and i dont have an eeprom backup on my pc. i have been trying for a couple days but can not find a solution. i have tryed hotswaping and useing xbhdm but i am unsure if i need an eeprom backup if useing factory hdd? any advice would be great.

    Ive alswyas said softmodding sux, because quite simply, people mess em up and dont know how to rectify the problem.
    easy solution
    fit a chip!
    use an installer (like mine)
    cant I repeat CANT go wrong!!
    once the chip is flashed, anything messes up, stick the installer disc in, sorted
    everything to format, install dashes, lock/unlock the drive is there.

    if you dont want, you never ever have to connect xbox to pc
    seems to me that the simplest solution (ie softmod) has more problems than a hard mod to people who are newbs to modding
    in the long run, a modchip is the safest, easiest way to go!
