Error 12 now and everything is connected fine.. i seriously think just me gray cable is fucked up from tryin to pull it so many times.. im a try and use the pcs cable in my xbox see what hat gives me

I got a question. even be4 i fucked up my dash everytime i tryed to do a live update it gos to the error 21 service page. dos the live update run off the msdash? bc my xbox currently dosn't have the ms dash on it.i also previosly erased my e drive.

Live only update your ms dash if it detect the current version is old.

and how will that restore my xbox.. after its installed and turned on would it load a different dash.. or rebuild of hard drive or what.. how will it fix my problem and what needs to be done.. lol.. sorry for being a pain

 

Step by step

- install modchip for your xbox version as instruction on X3 site

- download X3 bios and flash bios as instruction on X3 site

- download autoinstaller disk like AID, Slayer, SID. Extract the iso inside it then burn into DVD-R/CD.

- Xbox should load this disk.

- Install a big new hdd inside xbox.

- load the autoinstaller disk

- follow the main menu: format hdd, install dashboard , install emulator, install apps.

done

yes you can use any hdd even the original hdd.


Notes: hdd is > 8GB

omg my problems just keep gettin worst and worst.. i tok out the drive and DVD to check the wires and i pulled out the date cable on the dvd room and then pins pull right out!!!!

I copied all of the files from my friends Xbox (C & E ) to my xbox. No change, I still get the need service screen. I don't have a number in the top left.
Where do I go from here?

 

you need to download Shademand softmod file 324MB on the first page. then extract it all the way until you have C and E folder on PC.

Then do hotswap again and follow my instruction to copy shademand file to xbox's hdd.

you dont have to. Just lift up the hdd and DVD drive then look for wires

 

i no that but i just fine it funny how i just hauled the gray cable right outta the black thing on the end of the gray cable lol
i have to slide the pins back threw the wire and clamp it again hehe

 

Well you may have the bad gray cable. Change it.
