umm my eeprom is on the hard drive right.. and if i use that program to unlock the drive that u told me not to use.. that will give me the files and ill probly find it on that drive... but u said my xbox wont be able to unlock it again.. so who cares ill get another hard drive or just format it and do it over again with a chip and reload my eeporm

 

if you have eeprom.bin, go ahead and download shademand softmod file 324MB on the first page. Extract it untill you C and E folder on PC.

Then follow this tut


- Download xboxhdm 1.9 and extract it on PC. Then read xboxhdm instruction and make a boot disk. Remember put your C, E, eeprom folder into linux folder of xboxhdm.

- Then follow the xboxhdm instruction to format the new big hdd, to copy files to C and E drive. Then lock the hdd with your eeprom.

- When done, install this big hdd to xbox and boot up.

so ur sayin go ahead and unlock the stalk drive?? and fine the eeprom.bin and put it on my computer and then put a new h/d in and run that tut u ggave me?.. or im suppose to use the same hard drive.. or what..

 

if you are sure the eeprom in the stalk drive, yes unlock it. Then use the eeprom with shademand files to build a new hdd for xbox.

it is usually on E\backup
But look both drive.

 

k got my E and C drives, just need to unlock the talk drive to get the eeprom.. and also my other hard drive its 20gigs dose that need to be formated as a Fat 32 or the other file system NTFS

 

xboxhdm have option to format, lock hdd. Just follow xboxhdm instruction.

 

one thing this program HDD unlock wizard, it says WARNING : "all data on the drive will be destroyed during the unlocking process"

did u try to hotswap to get it to format ur h/d and unlock it? r did u just have it in the comp? if it was in the comp, did u boot it up w/ it in?

 

i unno I been tryin to unlock it so i can recover my eeprom thats on there thats backed up under E:/ backups so i can re build my hard drive since i cant hotswap it

oh i got slayer, im not sure if its burnt right tho .. i burn the iso as a image using sonic.. but that dosent load on my xbox

 

on cd r dvd? and u burned it how the explined on one of the forums? Or u read the how-to/readme for Slayer? U burn as RAW image?
