@regime I tryed to hotswap multiple times and the Xplorer360 could not find it, I went to device manager and it wasn't there, and I searched for new hardware and it didn't find it. I did this quite a few times but there was no luck. Any suggestions?

 

try changin ur timin on it n tell me wat happens. is the hd on cable select?

 

@regime the jumper pin was in cable select, but is there anything else I should be watching for or listening for to get the right timing or is it just the luck of the draw?

@regime the hard drive has shown it's self under device manager and says it is working properly, but won't work in Xplorer360. should I download the other beta version of the program? Or is there something I'm missing?

Hi, i downloaded tha shadermand files (324Mb) again, from a different site and the files are still wrong.

I tried the SID 3.1 Dual boot (Hacked / MSDash). The MSDash boot (open tray) is working, but the Hacked boot (pressing power) is not.

What´s happening with Shadermand files and my xbox?
Could somebody helps me by MSN Messenger?

I mean, the Dashboard folder and Shadowc folder are missing, and there is some other folders there, like Ðvideo, 90x26, HDDLoader, KNOPPIX, linuxboot.cfg, minirt24.gz, iTunes.pls, etc...

I tried to download from some different sites.

did you connect right? Do you know about PC? If not, ask someone to help you on this.

There are 2 IDE calbes in PC: primary and secondary.

- the PC's hdd is on primary IDE cable + a DVD/CD drive.
- ONLY xbox's hdd will connect to secondary IDE cable. NO other drives. Jumper should be Master or Cable Seclect.


When do hotswap, make sure that you disconnect IDE cable from xbox's hdd when you see white microsoft logo shown or just before xbox hang/goes to sevice screen.

If you disconnect IDE cable too early or too late, the hdd stays lock.

go here and ask Shademand where to download his file. Plus ask him what are actually in that softmod file.

After you copy Shademand file to xbox, did you try to turn xbox on with the Eject and Power button?

What error do you have now?

 

I did try both buttons, I got the same error. (Xbox need service or something like that in multiple lang. No number in the top left. I've never had a number in the top left like everyone else.
My system seem to not be reading the hard-drive.

I'm stuck.

yea r u kan just get the mother board n all that stuff w/o havin to get the case, cuz im sure u kan save like 10 bucks r so.....im so cheap lol
